Commenting on the closing ceremony of the Challenge of Arab Reading in Kuwait, Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Coordinator of the Arab Reading Challenge in the initiatives of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International, expressed his thanks and gratitude to all those who competed in Kuwait, appreciating the remarkable increase in the number of participants in the fourth round of the challenge. "The challenge of reading Arabic is bigger than a competition among Arab students," he said. "It is a project to deliver the reading message to all Arab students. This is achieved through the efforts of the various teams in all the participating countries and the official and popular support of the initiative."
Kuwaiti attention
The number of students who participated in the challenge of Arab reading at its fourth session at Kuwait level was 77,667 students from 749 schools in the public and private sectors, while the number of supervisors was 1872 supervisors.
The Arab Reading Challenge, which includes Arab participants from Arab and foreign countries, was launched in March, and during a series of months-long qualifiers, the first students compete in their schools at the district and district levels in their respective countries, In coordination with the General Secretariat to challenge the Arab reading, and choose the champion of the state, in preparation for the competition of the first students, the champions of the challenge, in the participating countries, the latest competitions to be held in Dubai in October this year, ahead of the announcement of the champion of the Arab reading challenge at the fourth session of 2019.
