Majida El Roumi at the grand closing ceremony of Arab Reading Challenge

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Arab world will celebrate on Wednesday the crowning of the champion of the fourth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge at a huge ceremony hosted by the Dubai Opera.

The closing ceremony will witness the participation of more than 3,000 officials and delegates from all over the world to announce the winners of the title of the 2019 Arab Reading Challenge Champion, Distinguished School and Distinguished Supervisor.

Also witnessing the launch of a new song with the voice of Lebanese singer Majda Al Roumi entitled «the land will remain Arab», to be a message of hope and science to all the Arab world, which is the words of the Egyptian poet, producer and author Medhat El Adl, the author of many Arab art productions, most notably «Arab Dream Opera» Michel Fadel, one of the most famous Lebanese musicians and pianist of Mrs. Fayrouz band, is one of the most famous Arab national songs.

The 7-minute land will shed light on the hopes of the Arab world and the aspirations of the new generation for a better tomorrow. Directed by the song director Engi Jamal, the author of many of the outstanding illustrated works of art of some of the most important Arab names known in the arts.

The song included in the closing ceremony of the Arab Reading Challenge represents a message of hope to the world in general and to the Arab youth in particular. The message it carries has strong meanings that will make it immortal for future generations.

“Art is the common language among the peoples of the world. Through this singing work, which acquires an Arab character with international standards, with the participation of the Kiev Philharmonic, we aim to translate the cultural landscape of Arab youth as they compete in the fields of culture, knowledge and science and turn it into a global message that confirms that the future Al Arabi holds many opportunities to overcome obstacles and achieve achievements for Arab societies and future generations. Through this song, we express the aspirations and hopes of the promising Arab youth”.

She added: "I believe that the Arab world is rich in natural and human qualifications that reflect the beauty of our Arab nation from the ocean to the Gulf, and the generations of young talent abound in various fields, which must be harnessed to serve our countries to understand the hope of the future, expressing her happiness to participate in the celebration of the Arab reading challenge Which contributed to the creation of an unprecedented cultural and knowledge movement among the Arab youth and youth inside and outside the Arab world".

The closing ceremony of the Arab Reading Challenge 2019 will be broadcast live from 12:00 pm live on MBC screen and presented by the presenter Shahad Blanc and the media Ahmed Al Yammahi. During the ceremony the selection of the Arab Reading Challenge champion from the five heroes who had managed to reach the semi-finals after Strong competitions included the 16 crowned champions in 14 Arab countries.
